Pokemon TCG Pocket Intel Suggests New Pack Reveal Coming Soon

Posted on Reddit by user _foxlife, the newly leaked Pokemon TCG Pocket trailer appears to have been accidentally uploaded by the Italian branch of the official Pokemon YouTube channel. Based on the video, the A4 set seems to be titled something along the lines of “The Way of the Sky and the Sea,” a literal translation of the Italian name. The trailer also offers a look at 14 new cards coming to the Pokemon TCG Pocket roster, including Ho-Oh EX, Lugia EX, shiny Gyarados, Umbreon EX, and Espeon EX. Six new Pokémon LV.X were included in this expansion, three of which were different forms of Arceus LV.X, the other three being Gengar LV.X, Salamence LV.X and Tangrowth LV.X. This expansion also marked the continuation of the “Shining” Pokémon which were featured through the Platinum booster series.

The set’s symbol is a black silhouette of Ho-Oh’s wing, superimposed on a white silhouette of Lugia’s wing. It is a set of 115 cards, plus 2 secret cards (including the box topper), plus 28 Unowns. The set, which in Japan was named “GoldenSky and SilverSea”, is set in Johto, and is the first set by Pokémon USA to mainly consist of Pokémon from the Pokémon Gold and Silver games, released in 2001. EX Unseen Forces is known for having more Pokémon-ex than any other set to date, with a total of fourteen (including one box topper and one secret rare card). Under Nintendo’s publishing house, the third promotional set consisted of 40 cards.

That might be a little far off, with the new video game pokemon tcg sets coming in October, but it’s certainly a possibility. After all, the Pokemon TCG Mega Evolutions set has just been revealed. So, a companion set in Pokemon TCG Pocket would be an interesting move. Aside from the Gold and Silver theme, the leaked video also confirms that Pokemon TCG Pocket’s A4 will launch on July 30, just as most earlier speculations predicted. It remains to be seen whether the developer will officially release the trailer today now that it has leaked.

Neo Discovery – Set List

Expedition Base Set, released in September 2002, is the 14th set of cards in the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Generally, the older and more scarce a Pokémon set is, the more valuable it is. First-edition copies of Base Set, the original Pokémon set, are worth the most money. Individual booster packs can sell for thousands of dollars, and booster boxes are even more ludicrously priced.

Gym Challenge

Some of us might still be chasing those full art cards, but for others, it’s time to look ahead to the next new set of boosters. Given that new packs have been dropping just about every month, it’s likely we’ll see a new set arrive in Pokemon TCG Pocket on or around July 26th. • It contains reprints from the HeartGold & SoulSilver series sets, as well as the remaining cards from the Japanese Lost Link set.

Personally, I’m all set with Eevee Grove, but many fans have other items on their wishlists.

Gym Heroes, released on August 14, 2000, is the 6th set of 1328 cards in the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Its name comes from the Gym Leaders it focuses on and how these first four Gym Leaders have relatively optimistic and carefree personalities compared to those featured in Gym Challenge. This set also introduced a card layout change, eliminating the flavor text and stacking the weakness/resistance/level to fit the Gym Leader’s headshot/badge.
